To begin our mini topic on plants it would be brilliant if you went on a flower hunt. You can do this if you go to the park for a walk or even in your own garden.
What you need to do!
- All you need is a piece of cardboard. Me and Mrs Heritage cut ours into a heart shape (you can do whatever shape you want) and then we carefully used scissors to poke lots of holes to put the flowers in.
- We then went to our local park with Teddy and went on a flower hunt.
- We picked lots of wild flowers (we made sure we only took what we needed) and were respectful of those around us.
- Each flower we picked, we carefully threaded its stem through the holes in the cardboard.
- We tried to fill the board and in the end it looked really pretty!
