Fractions Percentages and Decimals of a Whole Number

Steps to Success

  1. Link the decimal or percentage to their related fractions (use the above table).
  2. Use the denominator/bottom to DIVIDE
  3. Then multiply that answer by the numerator/top

  3. stuck on the question 10% of 75. Can the answer have a decimal point as I’m working it out as 7.5 but its fractions of a whole number?

    • 7.5 seems perfect to me, Maigen! It’s working out a fraction of a whole number but that doesn’t mean the answer has to be a whole number! Hope you are well? Keep up the good work and keep commenting!
